Morristown woman says she escaped after being abducted

According to the Morristown Citizen-Tribune a Morristown woman is safe after reporting her abduction and escape Sunday.Star McCracken of Brights Pike told police she ran out of gas on Sugar Hollow Road around 10 p.m. and walked to the BP station next to Scottish Inns on West Andrew Johnson Highway to get gas.After returning to her vehicle and putting gas in it, she reportedly unlocked the driver’s side door and got in. When she was inside, a man sat up in the back seat, and, holding a flip-blade knife, ordered her into the passenger seat.McCracken told police she complied, and the man reportedly climbed into the driver’s seat and began driving.She described the man as a Hispanic male in his mid-30s. She said he stands approximately 5-feet 7-inches tall, weighs approximately 175 pounds and has black hair, brown eyes and mustache and a scar on the right side of his neck.
