Johnson City woman arrested for alleged knife attack on boyfriend

A Johnson City woman has been arrested after police found her boyfriend at the side of the street with cuts to his chest and arm.

According to Johnson City Police, on Wednesday evening a citizen alerted police of a domestic dispute at 1717 Daytona Court. When police arrived, they found a bleeding man at the side of the street.

The victim told police he was arguing with his girlfriend when she came at him with two knives, cutting his arm and chest.

Inside the residence police found the alleged attacker, Tina G. Strickland, 39. According to police, "she appeared to be very intoxicated."

Strickland was charged with aggravated assault, arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. She is being held on a $15,000 bond with an arraignment set for this morning.

The victim was transported to the Johnson City Medical Center and admitted for observation.
