A search warrant executed by Bristol Virginia Police has led to the arrest of two men on drug charges.

According to authorities, the warrant was obtained following complaints of narcotic sales at 311 Magnolia Drive. On Wednesday members of the Vice and Narcotics Unit entered the home.

In a back bedroom they found the resident, Willie Charles "Pee Wee" Howard, 32, and Michael A. Rutherford II, 28, of D-4 Johnson Court. A quantity of cocaine -- with a street value of approximately $3,000 -- and $1,700 in cash were located in the same room.

Police also found Rutherford in possession of items packaged to resemble crack cocaine, but determined to be fake.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. An additional charge of possession of an imitation controlled substance was placed against Rutherford.

They are held without bond with a preliminary hearing date of April 23.
