First Morristown traffic camera goes live today

According to the Morristown Citizen-Tribune warning tickets with be issued beginning today from information gathered by a traffic camera mounted between College Square Mall and Crockett Square.The camera is one of five that will be installed at city intersections. After the 30-day warning period violators will begin paying $104 per speeding ticket.The cameras will also issue citations for motorist who run red lights.The other four cameras will be at the intersections of West Andrew Johnson Highway and Highway 160; WAJ and Morris Boulevard; Morris and Cumberland Street; and at Morris and Haun Drive near the mall.
