According to a report in the Morriston Citizen-Tribune closing of Lifetime KIA of Morristown may be nothing more than survival of the fittest since other car dealerships in the Lakeway Area area all about business as usual."New car sales are off. There’s no denying that," Bill Garland of Royston Chrysler Dodge Jeep told the paper's reporter on New Year’s Eve. "But used car sales are good."Greg VonCannon of Rusty Wallace Lincoln Mercury agreed: "Business has not been as good this year as in years past. We’ve been able to hold our own, but it has been a challenge," he said. "You’d be hard pressed to find anybody in business that says it’s been good.""People are buying based on a real need," VonCannon added "They don’t want to go deep into debt just to get something nice. People are nervous about everything that has been going on with the economy."
