Slow market blamed for Greeneville real estate firm's closure

According to a report in the Greeneville Sun the owner/broker of ERA Parrish Realty says the firm will close its doors today.Michael Allen, owner/broker of ERA Top Producers, Inc., a Knoxville-based real estate firm that bought what was then Parrish Realty Co., blamed the slow real estate market was the primary reason for his decision to close the office."With the current real estate market (in the Greeneville area), it's tough out there," Allen told the Sun.He said Knoxville's market was also slow, yet the opportunities for sales were greater because of the much larger population.
