Popular supplements ineffective against arthritis

According to WebMD, the second part of a long-awaited study of how well the dietary supplements glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate slow cartilage loss in patients with arthritis reaches the same conclusion as the first part: The pills didn\'t work.The two-year study, conducted at eight universities, found that the popular supplements didn\'t do any better than sugar pills in slowing the rate of cartilage loss in the knees of patients with arthritis.CLICK HERE for the full report.
