Weber City officers were called to 129 Dogwood St. about 10 p.m. where Scott County Life Saving Crew was taking care of Timothy Crawford when officers arrived, said Weber City Police Chief Jim Benton.
Crawford was taken to Holston Valley Medical Center where Benton said Crawford was listed in stable condition with at least one cut to his side.
Timothy Crawford was stabbed by Jeffrey Crawford during an argument, Benton said. The two men are cousins. Neither man lives at the home where the fight took place.
During the fight, another man stepped in to help Timothy Crawford. Henry Absher was also injured by Jeffrey Crawford. Absher was stabbed in the hand, Benton said.
His wound was not serious and he refused treatment, Benton said.
After the fight, Jeffrey Crawford ran from the house. Benton said. Police looked for him, but he was never located. Warrants have since been issued for his arrest, Benton said. He is wanted for malicious wounding and unlawful stabbing.
Twenty-year-old Jeffrey Crawford was last seen wearing a white tank top and long blue-jean shorts.
He has tattoos on both arms. One on his shoulder says “pimp,” Benton said. Crawford is unshaven with short hair. His last known residence was at 3309 Page St., Kingsport, Benton said.
