Gray woman accused of stealing thousands in pre-paid phone cards at work

Johnson City Police arrested a grocery store employee Friday who is accused of stealing pre-paid phone cards for months from her employer.

Leslie M. Aldridge, 20, of 239 Cedar Lane in Gray, was arrested after management at White's Grocery, 338 Suncrest Drive, contacted JCPD about an employee taking pre-paid phone cards over a period of several months.

Aldridge is accused of taking over $10,000 worth of the pre-paid phone cards. She is charged with theft over $10,000 and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Monday.
