Johnson City Police have placed additional charges against a shooting victim who reportedly gave false identification to avoid being identified as a wanted man.

Steven Delgado Christopher, a shooting victim at Nashville Sound on North Roan Street in Johnson City, identified himself as Curtis Lambert to the Johnson City Medical Center reportedly to defraud the center for payment of his gunshot wound treatment.

Police confirmed his identification with fingerprinting, which led to the discovery that Christopher was wanted in Westchester County, New York and in Alchua County, Florida on several felony drug charges.

A fugitive from justice warrant was served on Christopher Wednesday. He remains in the Washington County Detention Center on a $105,000 bond.

Christopher is scheduled to appear in Johnson City General Sessions Court on Thursday, May 17.
