Clifton serves as a director of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Public Works Association. He is the graduate of the Leadership Kingsport and Leadership McMinn programs, and is active in various Kingsport community activities.
Previously, Clifton was a marketing and projects manager with Anderson & Associates, and has been involved in marketing and project management in the Tri-Cities area. He served as public works director in Athens, Tenn., and as water/wastewater systems manager in Kingsport.
Calvin and his wife Leslie, and children Megan and Peyton, attend Mountain View United Methodist Church in Kingsport.
