Two Lee County residents charged in malicious wounding

Staff report • Apr 14, 2007 at 12:00 AM

Two people are being held without bail on charges of malicious wounding in relation to a Wednesday fracas that left a Lee County man seriously injured.

Rebecca Rayanne Carroll, 30, Route 3, Box, 951, Jonesville, and Roger Hall, 42, P.O. Box 148, Ben Hur, will be arraigned Monday in Lee County General District Court on the charges.

A warrant obtained by Fred McDonald alleges that Carroll, Hall and two others attacked him on Wednesday.

The attack left McDonald with head and other injuries that required stitches and other medical attention. Court officials say charges are pending against the other two suspects, but warrants had not been served as of Friday morning.

Hall was also charged with possession of marijuana when officers executing his arrest warrant found one ounce of marijuana in the center console of his vehicle.
