Sullivan County Commission planning commission will hold a zoning trip beginning at 9 a.m.

Big Stone Gap Town Council's public property committee will meet at 9 a.m. in the council chambers at Big Stone Gap Town Hall. The agenda includes continued discussion on Miner's Park, including needed repairs and suggested improvements.

Washington County Library, Gray, will offer story time for children 3 to 5 at 10 a.m. and for children 18 to 35 months at 11 a.m. with the theme "Monkey See-Monkey Do."

Wellmont Health System's Marsh Regional Blood Center will hold a public blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. at Food City, Big Stone Gap. Donors must be 17 or older, weigh 110 pounds or more, and be in good health. Call 224-5888.

Washington County Commission education committee will meet at 5 p.m. at the National Storytelling Center, Jonesborough.

Sullivan County Commission building committee will meet at 6 p.m. at the Sullivan County Courthouse, Blountville.

Washington County Commission health and welfare committee will meet at 6 p.m. on the second floor of the Washington County Courthouse, Jonesborough.

Washington County Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Office, Jonesborough.

Sullivan County Commission budget committee will meet at 7 p.m. at the Sullivan County Courthouse, Blountville.
