DPI expands sales force with Catalyst

PINEY FLATS - Diversified Power International of Piney Flats has expanded its sales force and geographic outreach by adding the services of Catalyst Sales Inc., a professional sales organization. A 10-year-old manufacturer of battery chargers, DPI is known for its innovative technology and the ability to customize battery charging systems. By affiliating with Catalyst, DPI will be positioned to access markets in the Midwest, particularly those in Ohio, DPI President Jerry Fagan said. "Up until now, we have largely focused on markets in the Southeast, but we are ready to branch out to new territories," said Fagan. "Our partnership with Catalyst literally will double our sales force and help us to grow our business." Catalyst is based in Gibsonia, Pa., with offices in Cleveland and Cincinnati, Ohio; Livonia, Mich.; and Indianapolis. DPI is also affiliated with Pinnacle Marketing Inc., another sales organization based in Raleigh, N.C., that markets to customers and distributors in the Southeast. Together, Catalyst and Pinnacle provide DPI with a sales force of about 20 individuals.
Comfort Keepers hires Linda E. Bambino

KINGSPORT - M.D. and Elvera McCue, owners of the local branch of the national Comfort Keepers franchise, recently announced the appointment of Linda E. Bambino as operations manager. More than 500 Comfort Keepers in the United States provide in-home services on an hourly basis tailored to an individual's needs. Services include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, incidental transportation, laundry and recreational activities. Bambino will provide in-office support managing the day-to-day management of operations for the company. Bambino completed her master's degree in health care communication at East Tennessee State University in 2006, served as the business developmental director for a medical clinic in the late 1990s, and had a long career in nursing since the 1980s.
