According to police, a medical report indicates Church Hill resident Albert H. Keisling Jr., 58, did not die due to a crash at the intersection of Stone Drive and Clichfield Street Wednesday evening. Rather, they believe he may have experienced a medical problem that caused the four-car accident.
According to Kingsport Police, at 6:46 p.m. three vehicles in the westbound lane of Stone Drive were stopped by a red light at the intersection of Clinchfield Street. Keisling's Chevrolet Colorado then struck one of the three cars in the rear, causing a chain reaction in which all four vehicles were damaged.
Witnesses told police Keisling was slumped over the steering wheel immediately before impact. Of the three other people involved, one was treated for minor injuries at the scene while the other two were not hurt.
