Johnson City police arrest woman in immigration status case

Johnson City police have arrested Guadaleupe Mosqueda Ramirez, 38, 118 W. Poplar St. in connection with an immigration status case.

According to the police press release, Ms. Ramirez allegedly got a job at Citi Commerce Solutions in Johnson City by

posing as a legal resident of the United States and using the Social Security number of another person.

Ms. Ramirez is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing in is set for 9 a.m. Thursday in Washington County General Sessions Court.
