SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - A Sevier County jury found a convicted sex offender guilty of first-degree murder Saturday for the slaying of a 22-year-old woman.

Jurors will decide during a second phase of the trial whether John Wayne Blair, 51, will face the death penalty for the murder of Kelly Estelle Sellers in April 2005.

The jury deliberated almost four hours Saturday.

Sellers disappeared April 22 from English Mountain and was found five days later. Her body was found wrapped in a blue tarp and bound with duct tape in a mountainside gully.

Authorities arrested Blair the next day after a search of his mobile home.

Investigators found what appeared to be blood stains on carpet in a bedroom, a back door, a pair of shoes and a bucket in the home.
