One of the suspects was allegedly involved in the murders of Jeffrin Nolan, 27, and Terrance Alexander, 21, and the other was charged with possession of drugs that were discovered when police searched a Piney Flats home where some of the murder suspects lived.
Leslie Allen Ware Jr., 28, was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder and one count each of especially aggravated robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
Rita Massey, 26, was arrested on charges of criminal conspiracy to possess more than 26 grams of cocaine with the intent to sell or deliver, possession of over 26 grams of cocaine for resale, and maintaining a dwelling where controlled substances are used or sold.
She is the sister of one of the murder suspects.
KPD Detective Cpl. Frank Light said there is still one more suspect police have not located.
Already in custody and their charges are:
•Osheen DeYoung Massey, aka Rah, two counts of first-degree premeditated murder, two counts of first-degree felony murder, especially aggravated robbery, and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
•Clyde Green, two counts of first-degree premeditated murder, two counts of first-degree felony murder, especially aggravated robbery, and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
•Octavia Brooks-Wilson, two counts of first-degree murder.
•Brian Beco, accessory after the fact.
•Crystal Arnold, accessory after the fact.
Nolan and Alexander were gunned down inside Nolan's Myrtle Street candle and incense business, Solé.
Witnesses told investigators that just prior to the shooting two vehicles - a newer-model black SUV and a gray Lincoln - parked near Solé. At least one black female was with several black males in the vehicles, witnesses said, and some of the men got out after sitting for a while.
A witness who lives near the business told police he saw Massey and Green enter the business and exit a short time later. He picked the suspects out of a photo lineup.
KPD Detective Cpl. David Quillen testified that witnesses told police that Osheen Massey was the "mastermind" behind the months of planning to rob Nolan. Investigators also said the men were drug cohorts.
Police searched Massey's Piney Flats home three days after the murder and found a large quantity of crack cocaine and cash.
Light said Rita Massey and Ware will be arraigned in New York and decide if they will waive extradition or not.
If they do not waive, it could be a couple of months before they are returned to Tennessee. Authorities here would have to obtain a governor's warrant ordering the two be returned to face the charges.
Arnold is free on a $1,500 bond. Green is being held without bond because of a probation violation, Massey is jailed on a $750,000 bond, and Beco's bond is set at $250,000. He also faces additional drug and filing false report charges.
