JOHNSON CITY - Creative Energy, a full-service marketing and advertising agency, celebrates its 15th year in 2007. The Johnson City-based agency recently acquired Zatarain's, Vie de France and Bunge Oil food service marketing and public relations responsibilities. The agency also won an international competition to earn responsibilities for advertising Lesonal, an Akzo Nobel automotive coatings division product. "The acquisition of these new clients in food service reiterates Creative Energy's growing reputation in the food service industry," Creative Energy President Tony Treadway said. "We are now among the top food service advertising agencies in the U.S. We are proud of our 15 years in the industry and of the great clients we continue to represent." Zatarain's has been producing authentic New Orleans-style Cajun foods since 1889. Vie de France is a leading supplier of baked goods. Bunge Oil is the leading producer of zero trans fat cooking oils, butter alternatives and sprays. Creative Energy is the largest locally owned advertising, marketing and public relations firm in Northeast Tennessee. With offices in Johnson City and Asheville, N.C., the company employs 17.
VCU schedules information session

ABINGDON - Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Nurse Anesthesia is offering its graduate curriculum to residents of Southwest Virginia at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon. VCU and the SVHEC will host an information session March 8 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. for interested individuals. Representatives from VCU's CRNA program will be available to provide information and answer questions.
