Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday HCSO Deputy Chad Gillenwater responded to and unwanted guest complaint and two 911 hangup calls at a residence on the 1100th block of McKinney Chapel Road.
While speaking to David Goins at the door, a woman identified as Heather Carol Russell, 29, 1273 Old Rt. 70, Rogersville, reportedly came to the door "in a hysterical manner."
Gillenwater stated in his report that Russell appeared to be "extremely impaired" on narcotics.
"Ms. Russell then began yelling at me and telling me that if I didn't run I was fixing to get shot in the head," Gillenwater stated in his report. "Ms. Russell went on to inform me that there was another male in the home who was pointing a gun at my head and was fixing to kill me if I didn't run."
Russell also allegedly stated that someone had fired shots in the home shortly before Gillenwater arrived, and and that someone was possibly shot inside the residence.
There were several other males in the residence, and they were cleared out of the home until it could be determined if Russell was telling the truth.
Russell's comments were eventually determined to be unfounded and she was arrested for felony filing a false report.
As of Thursday she remained held in the Hawkins County Jail with no bond set pending arraignment set for Monday.
