Scott County police seeking repeat store burglar

Police are looking for a man who cut a hole in the wall of a Weber City store to steal cash, cigarettes and alcohol, then returned three days later to repeat the crime.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents occurred at Weber City Discount Tobacco Store on Highway 23 during the early morning hours of Feb. 3 and 6. The suspect’s face was obscured during the incidents, but he is believed to be white and approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was wearing camouflage clothing and black boots or shoes.
