At a Mooresburg domestic disturbance, a deputy found a busted windshield on a man’s pickup, while the contents of the vehicle were strewn about the yard. The victim’s wife — who had caused the damage during an argument — locked herself in the home and refused to exit, yelling that she “did not talk to police.” Once officers entered the residence, she was arrested without further incident and charged with vandalism.
On Highway 11-W, a deputy spotted a car traveling on a flat tire and rolling on the metal rim. During a subsequent stop, the driver performed poorly on sobriety tests, then admitted, “Yes, I’ve had too much to be driving.” He was charged with DUI, marking his second arrest on the charge.
A woman claimed that while at the Melinda Ferry boat ramp, another female “put a gun in her mouth, hit her in the head, and tore her rearview mirror off.” When an officer visited the location of the alleged assault, the suspect had fled. A witness at the scene did not see a gun but said the victim was dragged “several feet” by a vehicle. No motive for the incident was listed.

When police arrived, the suspect ran from the parking lot “while holding the front of his pants.” On adjacent Sevier Terrace Drive, and with officers in pursuit, he pulled out the gun, then “tripped and fell.” He was tackled and brought into custody. Officers checked the weapon and found it was loaded. Witnesses at Hog Wild stated the suspect had threatened to shoot people and had used the firerarm to hit an employee in the head. He was arrested on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, resisting arrest and being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon.
Shortly before 3 a.m., a patrol officer spotted a car believed to have been “involved in several burglaries to vending machines.” A traffic stop was attempted on East Stone Drive, but the suspect fled onto Packing House Road and other streets.
