Timmy Millard Rose, 34, and Lisa Carol Weems, 48, were each indicted for possession of meth for sale or delivery, maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Weems was also indicted on a second count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Last year, CHPD Detective Ethan Mays received information about a suspected meth house at 309 Charley St. while he was conducting an unrelated investigation.
On June 16, 2016, a search warrant was obtained by the HCSO Narcotics Unit and was executed by the HCSO Tactical Unit and Narcotics Unit, as well as the Third Judicial District Drug Task Force and the CHPD.
During the search, police found Rose and Weems at the residence as well as 333.86 grams of the potent form of meth known as “ice,” which has a street value of more than $33,000.
Police also seized approximately $17,000 in cash, a .22-caliber handgun and a large amount of drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Weems and Rose are scheduled for arraignment in Hawkins County Criminal Court on Aug. 31.
Rose is serving a four year sentence that he received as a result of his escape from the Hawkins County Jail on Aug. 30, 2016.
Weems is being held without bond as well. She was released on $100,000 bond on July 2, 2016, and was arrested for theft the following Sept. 20. She was released Sept. 21 on an additional $3,000 bond, but her bond was revoked after she was arrested again on April 28 of this year on new charges of maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold and possession of drug paraphernalia.
