DUNGANNON — As part of an effort to stimulate new business growth, entrepreneurs in Dungannon can now apply for a low interest loan of up to $15,000 to place a small business within five miles of the town limits.
The town of Dungannon is launching this effort in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development and the LENOWISCO Planning District Commission.
“The Small Business Revolving Loan Fund will create new businesses, jobs and opportunities for anyone wanting to start a business in Dungannon,” said Mayor Debra Horne. “It will give them the jump start they need to get their business up and running.”
The small community in Scott County hopes this boost for entrepreneurs will diversify the economy, while providing an outlet for hardworking, creative individuals.
For more information on how to apply, interested individuals are encouraged to call Horne or Daniel Pinard at (276) 467-2522 or to visit 18948 Veterans Memorial Highway in Dungannon.
