SHELBYVILLE — Isabella van der Biest of Kingsport had a 2-under 142 total to win the Tennessee Section PGA Junior girls championship at Riverbend Country Club on Tuesday.

Adams shot 2 over for the day and the tournament to finish as runner-up.

Sullivan South’s Kara Carter finished tied for 14th after rounds of 81-79.

Van der Biest and Adams qualified for the Girls Junior PGA Championship on July 9-12 at Keney Park Golf Club in Hartford, Connecticut.
