Visual artists can swap paintings, photographs, sculptures and unneeded supplies as well as fiber arts, ceramics, pottery, jewelry, and their related supplies. It also can include sheet music, instruments, dance clothes and shoes, literature, and even an offer to trade lessons in piano, dance, voice, painting, etc.
There is be no registration charge. Artists just will need to bring your own table and chairs, and a tent if you wish. The swap will also be open to the public, and you may sell any items to the other artists or to the public.
In addition, there will be a “free table” where you may put things you would be happy for others to just enjoy. Anything left at the end of the day will be donated to a charity.
Set up will be from noon to 1 p.m., June 16, and clean up will be from 4 to 5 p.m. The registration deadline is noon, Friday, June 7. More details will be available to those who register. To register, call Susan Long at (276) 494-9925 or email SLong116@aol.com.
