Kid Power means free fun for kids of all ages

GRAY — Kid Power, the region’s largest free community event, for kids of all ages, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at Daniel Boone High School in Gray.

Among the events are the Heart Adventure Obstacle Course, Grand Slam inflatables, Greeneville Astros Bounce Room, searching in the Gray Fossil Site Dig Pit and batting with the Johnson City Cardinals.

Children also can visit with The Cat in the Hat, Danny the Lion, the Kingsport Lifesaving Crew Heavy Rescue Bloodhound Search Team, and local law enforcement, firefighters and rescue personnel.

Dozens of door prizes will be awarded, but you must be present to win. Admission and parking are free. Food will be available.
