Harry Potter has wielded his magic once more. Within hours, he made thousands of seats in Tri-Cities theaters disa p p e a r. A check of three of the largest Cineplexes in the region on Wednesday shows each is using every screen they have to meet the demand for midnight showings tonight of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.” “We had 10 midnight shows, and they all sold out within hours,” said Marquee Cinemas manager Marc Wagner. “We’ve had situations like this before with ‘The Dark Knight,’ the ‘Twilight’ movies and others, but this one has really been anticipated because it is the last one.” Carmike Cinemas 14 of Johnson City manager Zach Thompson said just over 300 tickets remained for their midnight showings. “Those will probably be gone by this afternoon. We’ve had people here an hour before opening all week just to buy tickets for the midnight show,” he said.
