Marquette Crockett, Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy’s Roan Stewardship director, will speak about the exceptional habitats of the Highlands of Roan, the rare creatures who inhabit them, and ongoing conservation work to protect the region. Hear about multi-partner efforts to address growing environmental threats, balance demand for recreational opportunities with protection of biodiversity, and what you can do to help safeguard the extraordinary beauty of the Highlands of Roan.

During this “pint night” event, $1 from each beer purchased will go directly to support land and water conservation work. SAHC staff will be present to answer questions about conservation, and “For Love of Beer & Mountains” merchandise will be available for sale.
