KINGSPORT — Here is what is happening in downtown Kingsport this weekend, according to the Downtown Kingsport Association.

Today

MODEL CITY TAP HOUSE:

MUSICAL BINGO

If you've never heard of Music Bingo...here's your chance to try out the latest craze in cities across the country! It's played exactly like traditional Bingo, except with song clips played in place of letters and numbers! Test your music IQ by determining the song title within the 20 second music clip AND find t on your Bingo Card! Prizes will be awarded to winners! See you there!

SLEEPY OWL BREWERY:

VIDEO GAME NIGHT

Game night returns to The Owl! We will have consoles set up through the projector for weekly tournaments, gift certificates for weekly and monthly winners, and beer/food specials for any participating gamer.

Game of the night TBA. Requests are totally welcome.

LAMPLIGHT THEATRE:

A MIDWINTER'S CAROL

Step back in time to Victorian England and celebrate Christmas at LampLight Theatre. A Midwinter's Carol is a Christmas musical presented in traditional Victorian fashion. The story is inspired by Little Peter: A Christmas Morality for Children of Any Age, which was published in 1888.

140 Broad St. - 7 p.m., also Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m.

MACADO’S:

KARAOKE NIGHT

Come out to Macado's for a fun karaoke experience! In conjunction with Absolute Entertainment, they're setting up a karaoke bar and they need you to come rock the house! Grab a bite, grab a brew, and get on the rotation to sing your heart out! Not a singer? No worries! Come enjoy the talented individuals who are!

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Downtown Kingsport is planning a Christmas Celebration for the Community that is bigger and better than ever! Start the day off shopping with our Downtown Merchants, during our Jingle & Mingle Event then at 2 p.m., make your way to the streets in front of Glen Bruce Park for food trucks, horse & carriage rides, Christmas crafts, and more. Walk in Hometrust Bank to have your photo snapped with Santa or visit Regions Bank to see award winning Gingerbread Houses.

DOWNTOWN KINGSPORT:

CHRISTMAS PARADE & TREE LIGHTING

After enjoying all the Christmas festivities, Grab your seat in time for the start of the Christmas Parade at 5 p.m.. Floats will wind through the decorate streets of Downtown (full a complete route, visit the website link below) and end at our beautiful renovated Church Circle. At the end of the parade, we will host the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree and enjoy a beautiful performance of the Nutcracker by Kingsport Ballet.

HOLIDAY LOFT TOURS

Holiday Loft Tours are back after a year off in Downtown Kingsport. There are 15 amazing lofts to discover on your self-guided tour. 5 Lofts are under construction, so you can hear about the grand plans and when they'll become available to rent or purchase! Don't wait around and miss it, or you'll have to wait two year to tour them again!
