Fun Fest Moonlight Hike has been canceled

The Fun Fest Moonlight Hike at Bays Mountain Park has been canceled tonight (Thursday, July 18). The event, which is sponsored by the Bays Mountain Park Association and the Eastman Hiking Club, will not be rescheduled this year.
In other weather-related changes, Fun Fest officials and the Kingsport Mets announced early Thursday that the Fun Fest Night at the Ballpark, washed out by the storm, will be held tonight (Thursday, July 18) at Hunter Wright Stadium.
The game coordinated with Fun Fest, originally scheduled for Wednesday at Hunter Wright Stadium, was postponed when torrential rains caused widespread flooding in and around Kingsport. That means fans will get twice the action as the K-Mets host the Danville Braves for a doubleheader. First pitch is at 5 p.m.
All tickets bought at a discount for Wednesday's game will be honored at tonight's makeup game. In addition, since it is Fun Fest Night at the Ballpark, all general admission tickets will be $3. General admission tickets for the game can be purchased at Hunter Wright Stadium.
The game is one of the many events of Fun Fest, a nine-day festival held each July in Kingsport. The night is sponsored by Wilson Worley PC, Attorneys at Law.
