June 7th and June 8th, Fern Valley Farm will host one of our favorite events - our 5-course monthly adult "Farm to Table" Dinner featuring local, fresh foods from our area. We grow or purchase the ingredients for the dinner from local farmers providing the freshest, most delicious combination of seasonal food around. It's a beautiful, relaxing adult friendly environment that features our "Gathering Place" dining area beautifully decorated to show off the early spring harvest. Great food, great company, and wonderful surroundings.Come support our local farmers and enjoy a wonderful meal in a beautiful, barn house setting at Fern Valley Farm, just 6 miles from downtown Bristol. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a relaxing evening together.
The June Farm-to-Table dinner menu for the evening will be:
Appetizers - Herbed Goat Cheese Wontons and Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnut Rumake
Salad - Fern Valley Farm Grown Organic Greens and Veggies with Strawberry Vinaigrette
Soup - Carrot, Apple, and Ginger Soup
Entree - Grilled Pork Chops with Onion Herb Butter and Caramelized Vidalia Onions, Lemon Tarragon Peas and Baby Potatoes with Shallots, Chives, and Bacon Dressing
Dessert- Homemade Shortcake, local Strawberries, and Fresh Whipped Cream
