KingsportARTS will host a summer camp June 3-7. This year’s camp will teach students about the Renaissance movement as it happened in different countries, including northern Europe, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Russia. Students will explore and learn in greater depth about the art, music, literature, science and politics of this time through 2D and 3D art, music, theater and dance. The camp will culminate in an art show and performance by the students for the parents and the community. Cost is $200 for full-day students ages 6-12 and $90 for half-day students ages 3-5. KingsportARTS Teen Summer Camp
KingsportARTS will host a summer camp for teens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 10-14 at the Kingsport Renaissance Center. Students will create and work with materials such as paper, cardboard, wire, paints, canvas, pencils, pens and construction paper to create 3-D sculptures, stop-motion animated films and more.
