Volleyball for girls in grades 2-7 begins March 12

Kingsport Youth Volleyball (KYVB) will have a spring league for girls in grades 2-7.

Players will participate in a skills camp, and then compete twice per week on teams divided by grade level.

Registration will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, at the Dobyns-Bennett High School gym lobby, and from 5 to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7, before the Skills Camp at Dobyns-Bennett High School gym.

Skills Camp will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7.

Practice and play will begin March 12 and continue through to the tournament on April 18. Matches for elementary-age teams are typically held between 5:30 and 7 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays. Matches for middle school-age teams are typically between 7 and 8:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays.

More details will be available once the number of teams has been set.

The cost is $60.

All KYVB players will receive a T-shirt and be coached by Dobyns-Bennett High School volleyball staff and players.
