Emory & Henry hosting prospective student-athletes Feb. 9

EMORY, Va. — Emory & Henry College welcomes recruited student-athletes to campus on Saturday, Feb. 9 for the college’s second Prospective Student-Athlete Day.
Current E&H student-athletes will share their experiences with prospective students and their families. In addition, coaches representing Emory & Henry’s 13 NCAA Division III programs will be available to speak with prospective student-athletes and their families.
Check-in for the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the King Health and Physical Education Center. The program will begin at 10 a.m. with an introduction from E&H Athletic Director Myra Sims. The day will continue with campus tours, meetings with coaches, lunch, and an admissions session for first-time visitors. Students who have already visited, as well as those who have already been accepted, will have the opportunity to meet one on one with an admissions counselor.
In the afternoon, visitors are invited to watch as the Emory & Henry men’s and women’s basketball teams take on Lynchburg College. The women’s game begins at 2:00 p.m. on Bob Johnson Court in the King Health and Physical Education Center. The men’s game will begin at 4 p.m.
