Dollar General stores offer a focused selection of food, housewares, seasonal items, cleaning supplies, basic apparel and health and beauty products. This new store will also provide customers with stylish, on-trend home décor and a party preparation selection.

The store’s fresh layout is designed to make shopping simple for customers. Seasonal products are displayed in the center of the store, departments are easily recognizable with visible signage and coolers are conveniently located at the front of the store.

Dollar General (headquartered in Goodlettsville, Tennessee) was originally founded in 1939 as Turner and Son Wholesale by J.L. Turner and Cal Turner, Sr. The father-and-son team pioneered the dollar-store concept when they opened the first Dollar General store in Springfield, Kentucky, in 1955. Today, Dollar General employs more than 130,000 people through 15,000 retail stores and 15 distribution centers in 44 states.
