Mollie Leslie added 20 points, which included hitting 11 of 14 shots from the free-throw line. Abby Compton added six points for the Lady Rebels, who led by just two at the half.
All total, South had 11 baskets from 3-point range, getting one apiece from McKenzie Littleton, Rachel Yates, Meredith St. Clair and Leslie.
Haley McComas scored 15 points for the team out of West Virginia. Ella Edwards added 14, Caroline Asbury 12 and Brea Saunders 10.

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Scott County of Kentucky jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead, and the Lady Cardinals romped to the win over Virginia’s Lady Pioneers in the Arby’s Ladies Holiday Hoops championship game.
Maaliya Owens had 16 points, Maleah Williams added 14 and Kenady Thompkins finished with 10 for the champions. Tournament MVP Juliette Smith barely missed double figures with nine.
Averie Price put up 12 points and Alyssa Padilla had nine to lead Lebanon.
SULLIVAN EAST 65, INDEPENDENCE, N.C. 50
BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Lady Patriots scored 44 points in the first half and the first 11 in the fourth quarter to defeat the Charlotte-based team and claim fifth place in the Arby’s Ladies Holiday Hoops event.
Kayla Honaker led East with 19 points, followed by Haley Grubb and Riley Nelson with 14 each. Kylee Wolfe also hit double digits with 10 points.
Braylin Minton paced Independence with 17 points and Ayanna Anderson added 10.
TENNESSEE HIGH 56, HEDGESVILLE, W.VA. 48
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Annie Hayes had 13 points, including three 3- pointers, and Riley Fritts finished with a dozen to lead the Lady Vikings over Hedgesville in the Arby’s Ladies Holiday Hoops seventh-place game.
Meghan Kerns tallied 22 points for the Lady Eagles, who got eight apiece from Hunter Taylor and Desiree Hosby.

PIGEON FORGE — Bailey Frazier had 13 points and four steals and Cassidy Thomas had 11 points to lead the Lady Wolfpack to the easy victory over the Lady Irish in the Pigeon Forge tournament.
Brooklyn Frazier added 10 points for Ridgeview and Nikole Counts had an all-around effort of eight points, five rebounds and four assists for the Lady Wolfpack, who led 45-22 at the half.
Mary Iverson paced Knox Catholic with 13 points.
WISE CENTRAL 52, CLAY COUNTY 38
GATLINBURG — The Lady Warriors picked up the Smoky Mountain Classic victory behind a strong defensive effort. Wise Central held the Lady Tigers to just three points in the third quarter.
Dee Cvetnich led Central with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Brook Porter also scored 13 points, and Olivia Mullins and Hannah Carter each ended with nine.
Kaylee Mathis had a game-high 18 points to lead Kentucky’s Clay County.
COLLINS 61, TWIN SPRINGS 38
GATLINBURG — Olivia Federle scored 22 points and Jeian Hayes added 12 to lead the Lady Titans of Kentucky over the Lady Titans of Virginia in the Smoky Mountain Classic.
Emaleigh Powers and Abby Castle each scored 13 for Twin Springs.

ELIZABETHTON — Tianna Long and Shay Whitson each scored 13 points in the Lady Warriors’ romp over the Lady Bulldogs.
Adrienne Henegar contributed a dozen points to the cause.

GATLINBURG — Connor Blevins poured in 26 points, Ethan Powers accounted for 17 and the Spartans earned the win in the Smoky Mountain Classic.
Nick Livingston provided a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds and John Robert Kilgore added a 10-point effort against the team from Florida.

PIGEON FORGE — Wade Pelfrey netted 16 points and Logan Hall added 15 to lead the Bulldogs over the Warriors.
Ben Stallard scored a game-high 17 for Central, which also got seven from Tyler Vanover.

ELiZABETHTON — Jordan Bentley had 18 points, Jonah Jones added eight and the Bulldogs took a bite out of their Carter County rivals.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. — The Phoenix outscored the Bucs 22-3 in the final quarter to capture the victory.
