With a donation to Goodwill at the gate, patrons will be able to buy one general admission ticket and get one for free that night.
“We are excited to be partnering with the K-Mets this season,” said Morris Baker, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Tenneva. “The K-Mets not only field a first-class team and provide a wonderful sports venue for our city. They also actively seek to contribute to our community. We thank them for helping Goodwill in our mission to help others. The donations we collect on these evenings will help local people who need jobs and job training.
“We are also excited to sponsor Family Night at the ballpark,” said Baker. “The K-Mets have put together a fun atmosphere, with special family packages each of these evenings.”
The Goodwill truck will be out in front of Hunter Wright Stadium collecting donations from 5:30 p.m. through the second inning of the games on July 1, Aug. 5, Aug. 12, and Aug. 26. Donations of any size can be dropped off to take advantage of the buy one, get one free offer. Goodwill can accept most items.
