Witherspoon and Caperton

Lindsey Allison Witherspoon of Kingsport, TN and Holden Taylor Caperton of Kingsport, TN were married on June 18, 2016 at Allandale Mansion. The Rev. Chuck Echols and Rev. Billy Wayne Arrington officiated at the 6:00 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kim Witherspoon of Kingsport, TN. She is the granddaughter of George and Theada Witherspoon of Kingsport, TN and Don and Carolyn King of Piney Flats, TN.

The bridegroom is the son of David Caperton of Kingsport, TN and Kaye Gillenwater of Church Hill, TN. He is the grandson of the late Cleatus and Evelyn Kennedy and the late Allen and Bea Caperton of Kingsport, TN.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mark and Kim and escorted to the altar by her father, Mark Witherspoon.

Amber Witherspoon, cousin of the bride, was Maid of Honor. The Bridesmaids were Danielle King, sister of the groom and Sydney Witherspoon, cousin of the bride. Maddie Bentley was the flower girl.

David Caperton, father of the groom, served as the Best Man. Groomsmen were Thomas King, brother-in-law of the groom and Graham Witherspoon, brother of the bride. The Ushers were Logan King, Peyton Estepp, Carter Estepp, and Dalton Steffey. John Caperton King "Cape", nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Sullivan South High School and East Tennessee State University. She is employed as an English Teacher at Knox Powell High School. The bridegroom graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, The University of Tennessee, and received his Masters Degree from King University. He is employed at First Tennessee Bank.

Following a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will reside in Knoxville, TN.
