Gate City man gets 20 years in death of fellow inmate

Shannon Bellamy, 23, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Jeffrey Kilgore by way of an Alford plea in April 2014. An Alford plea is when the defendant does not admit the act but concedes the prosecution could likely prove the charge.
