KPD arrest couple after puppy found locked in hot car

Two people have been arrested after a puppy was found dehydrated and unresponsive on Wednesday at the Kingsport Town Center, locked inside a car without water as they shopped inside the mall.

Based on 2014 TCAP accountability data released Wednesday, Rogersville City School students continue to improve in most academic categories, although the K-8 school wasn't immune to some setbacks which were experienced statewide.

KPD looking for two suspects in smart phone thefts

Two Samsung Galaxy 5S smart phones were stolen and were valued at $650 each, which made the total value $1,300. The phones were secured by alarmed cables, but the woman was able to get around those security measures.
