Man charged with attempted murder in Kingsport stabbing

A Kingsport man has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after allegedly pursuing his wife to the home of a friend during a domestic dispute, then stabbing her acquaintance three times in the driveway.

KINGSPORT — The Board of Mayor and Aldermen signed off on Kingsport’s 2014 budget during its regular meeting Tuesday, a balanced budget with no property tax increase, three percent hikes in the water and sewer rates and a small bump in school funding.
