Lee men charged in theft of equipment from Fort Henry Drive construction site

KINGSPORT — Adam Ely, 30, Route 1 Box 1712 Dryden, and Mark Mullins, 34, P.O. Box 1712 Dryden, were charged with theft over $60,000. The incident began May 20 when KPD officers responded to McDonald's in Colonial Heights for a theft of equipment call.

Hawkins County deputies arrested a Bulls Gap couple Wednesday night after allegedly finding a meth lab and meth lab components at a rental home about 600 feet from a children’s daycare center.

The U.S. Marshals Service today increased the reward for information leading to the arrest or capture of David Gordon Jenkins by $2,500. The total reward for Jenkins now stands at $5,000 after he was put on the state’s most wanted list on April 10, 2013.
