Sheriff: Unicoi County High School student made death threats with social media app

Rafael Diaz Saldana, 18, 101 Engineer Lane, Erwin, was arrested Monday evening and charged with false reporting, making death threats to a school employee and harassment.

In his attempt to get away, authorities say Brian Hawkins crossed the double yellow lines several different times, into oncoming traffic. Hawkins then pulled onto Lynn Road and allegedly refused to pull over for the officer.
