Gate City man gets 8 years for assault on bed-ridden mom

GATE CITY — Circuit Court Judge John Kilgore cited Tracy Adam Rogers’ history of assault on family members and a law enforcement officer, in addition to the fact he was on probation at the time of the latest occurrence, when issuing the sentence.
