Appalachian Power warns customers of scam

Small business owners are the target of a scam, Appalachian Power says. Reports of the scam are coming from its West Virginia customers, but the company says customers in Virginia and Tennessee are also likely to be targeted.

KINGSPORT — Sullivan County health officials confirmed this week that norovirus was found in samples it collected from local residents who had reported nausea, vomiting and diarrhea after recently visiting a local business.
