Police chief’s son indicted on weapon, cop impersonation charges

ROGERSVILLE — A police chief’s son accused of impersonating a cop and detaining a motorist while in possession of a badge, automatic rifle, and SWAT equipment was indicted Monday in Hawkins County on one felony and two misdemeanor counts.
