CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Investigators still have "no idea whatsoever" where a missing University of Virginia student might be despite the arrest of a fugitive who was seen walking off with her.

Police said multiple gunshots were fired from one vehicle at another along a residential Kingsport street on Thursday, sending one man to the hospital and igniting a search for a suspect who fled the scene.
