Douglas Brian Lawson, 30, and Pam Williams, 30, were arrested in July 2013 by the Scott County Sheriff's Office after they were allegedly found operating an active one-pot meth lab in a wooded area off Mustang Drive in Clinchport.

Meth lab found near elementary school in Elizabethton

Sgt. Harmon Duncan of the Carter County Sheriff's Department said the lab was complete and was in a plastic bag. The sheriff's department litter crew found the lab while cleaning in the area.

A man wanted for allegedly attacking and robbing a man at gunpoint during a cocaine deal in Kingsport, and knocking a woman unconscious to steal $6 and pills in a separate incident, has been apprehended after fighting with police along the interstate.
