KNOXVILLE — Kayla McBride scored 22 points to lead five players in double figures and No. 2 Notre Dame erased an early 12-point deficit to beat No. 11 Tennessee 86-70 on Monday night.

The Dobyns-Bennett bowling teams booked their ticket to state Monday with impressive sectional wins at Warpath Lanes. The boys easily outpointed Heritage 23-4 and the girls routed Gatlinburg-Pittman 25-2. The TSSAA meet begins Thursday.
