The Sullivan County Commission voted Thursday (by the narrowest possible margin) to file a lawsuit against the cities. At issue: up to 34 years worth of liquor-by-the-drink taxes.

UPDATE: Pursuit suspect killed by police is identified

The lengthy pursuit began in Washington County, Va., with speeds eventually exceeding 100 mph and police vehicles rammed. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office's sole role in the incident was preserving the scene of the shooting.
